Night Lights provides a much needed break for parents while providing a fun and safe social environment for their children who have special needs and their neuro-typical siblings through respite care. One Friday night a month our trained and background checked volunteers provide an evening of fun through pre-planned activities including arts and crafts, movie time, sensory play, and music. During a Night Lights evening, each child with special needs has their own “buddy”. This one-on-one attention ensures safety and personal attention for the entire evening! These trained volunteers are supported by a nursing staff to ensure the safety and comfort of the children. If you are interested, please complete a parent interest form at https://nightlightskids.org/family. After the interest form is received, a member of the sites leadership team will reach out with additional documents for the parents to complete and submit. All forms must be received prior to the child (ren) attending respite care.
