Interested in Enrolling Your Child In Night Lights?

Night Lights is 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides respite care for families who have children with special needs and their neuro-typical siblings, ages 4 weeks to 13 years old one Friday each month. We have three locations-Arvada, Broomfield, and Littleton. Trained and background checked volunteers provide an evening of respite care and fun through pre-planned activities including arts and crafts, movie time, free play, sensory play, and music. During a Night Lights evening, each child with special needs has their own “buddy”. This one-on-one attention ensures the safety and personal attention for the entire evening! A registered nurse in on-site for all Night Lights events to tend to medical needs that might arise during the night. Night Lights is from 6:30pm – 10:00pm. All of this is at no cost to the family.

A word from one of the Broomfield families:

“Katie Doughty is such a warm and compassionate human. After meeting her, we immediately felt high level of trust and confidence knowing that our little ones would be cared for. The stress that goes in to establishing care for a special needs kid is especially high, and it is so reassuring to know that our little ones will be in good hands. This program is truly a blessing, thanks to Katie and her team.”
